Ecovation is a privately owned Australian company established in September 2006 in Queensland. We are a Smart Grid Energy Management Aggregator delivering a range of integrated disruptive technologies and services that deliver smart grid compliant distributed clean energy that addresses consumer energy usage curtailment, network peak load and voltage reduction. We achieve this through the distribution of Solar Hot Water, Smart Reactive Power Solar Grid PV, Real time network web accessed energy and voltage monitoring, Utility & Customer HAN enabled demand management, Load curtailment through variable speed drives, energy efficient lighting and power factor correction solutions. Ecovation is licensed with the Building Services Authority and is a member of the Clean Energy Council. Ecovation commands an extensive national network of trade contractors to manage rapid deployment of installations supported by our highly skilled technical staff that man the Ecovation Network Operations Centre (NOC) that provides critical support and operations enabling optimal performance of distributed solutions. Ecovation specialize in Commercial, Industrial and Residential bulk installation programs. We have installed 4000+ solar hot water and solar PV systems.

Ecovation’s unique market position is its vertically integrated business model and program management capability to create and deliver large scale smart grid compliant solar bulk purchasing and installation clustering programs along with specific C&I energy efficiency clustering projects. Our flagship POWERIN Communities programs have been sponsored by Local Government Organisation’s, State Governments and Community Organisation’s. Ecovation has been successful in running two solar installation projects for the Logan City Council and won a share of the $2billion tender with the QLD Government Office of Clean Energy to supply and install up to 200,000 Solar Hot Water Systems (program aborted March 2010). Our points of difference are further enhanced through the manufacturing of our own OEM Solar Hot Water Products, developing a National Operation Centre (NOC) for remote monitoring and performance management of deployed assets, extensive product sourcing for best of breed technology direct from international manufacturers, aggregating preferred distributor agreements and installing through our own scalable contractor workforce.
