GOLD COAST RAPID TRANSIT PROJECT Further to the Information Sessions held recently with Translink,there are great concerns held by this Chamber in respect of the proposed Rapid Transit project. Whilst we acknowledge the Gold Coast's urgent need for enhanced public transport infrastructure, we are wholly unable to support this Project, and are alarmed at the likely extensive damage which would be suffered by Southport as a result.
